December in Texas again. I'm doing the outside decorations a little different this year which means it won't look as professional and I won't pay for any of it. Inside decorations are mainly Marti so it is already planned and balanced and looks great. We normally put up our artificial tree but this is a scaled down Christmas so we weren't going to do a tree. But we saw this cute one at Home Depot at a give-away price and had to have it.
Our normal group is either out of town or otherwise occupied with family stuff so we decide to go to the Riverwalk in San Antonio in lieu of an xmas party. There are vendors set up along part of it hawking their wares and the lighting displays were really pretty.
Christmas morning, coffee, gifts and a really nice day just being together. She got a spa day and I got a nook for downloading books to read. Pretty cool.
