"CHRISTMAS 2006"

Christmas starts early this year. Tony is here with Andrea for her graduation. Both sets of grandparents are here also, and since Paul and Laurie are leaving for a Hawaiian cruise the day after graduation, we all do our gift exchange on December 18.

Christmas Eve at my parents in the country, Rob is there with his kids, Joel is able to make it, and Robert and Cassandra bring Dameon. Martha has to work so I am alone.

2nd year empty nest, no excited child to wake us up to open presents. Martha and I got up, got dressed, made coffee and then opened our presents to each other.

Barb is in Germany for Christmas but Stephanie and Andrea come over for dinner on Christmas since Paul and Laurie are gone on a cruise.
Dave and Amber came by to do a gift exchange and visit before they go to another family function. It was a nice day and the girls stayed to visit after dinner. We had a couple of bottles of wine and played Cranium. They totally kicked our butts.

Last but not least, New Year's eve, Martha works that night and goes back in for an early shift New Year's day. We go over to Dave and Amber's to see in the new year and then home to bed. We did manage to get in a few drinks too.
