ROBERT & CHRISTINE'S WEDDING
The Big Event of 2001!
The weather was a godsend. We had rain the night before and an hour after
the wedding, but the ceremony and reception was warm and sunny. Family and
friends from near and far gathered to celebrate the union of Robert Stephan
and Christine June. Old faces and new. It was a joy to share this event with
the couple and with each other. It was a great weekend.

Since I only came equipped with a camcorder I didn't take any pics myself. Some
of these were emailed to me, some I shamelessly filched from Elizabeth's web page.

The rehearsal dinner was at the Rio Rancho Country Club. As I mentioned, it rained
all night, but inside it was dry and comfortable. This is a small portion of the
participants, both families were there. So far this is all the pics I have. The
food was very good, the wine flowed freely, (just ask Martha), Barbara Marie sang
and the wedding couple had put together a wonderful slide show. It was a wonderful evening.

The ceremony was beautiful, the music was tasteful and within a few dazed moments,
the deed was finally done after months of planning. It was worth it. The love
is evident to all of us who were there. Congratulations Robert and Christine.

The wedding and reception took place at La Hacienda Grande, most of these pics
were taken there. We retired to a cozy and beautiful courtyard following the
ceremony for the cutting of the cake. Later that evening many of the guests met
for dinner at an expensive seafood restaurant. The honeymoon was in Las Vegas.
