MARYLAND WITH BRIAN, LISA, et al.
On to Maryland to see Brian and family! We decide to go to his church first and surprise him. He called for updates on the way and insisted we come to the church first. LOL, oh well.
It was great to see Brian again and the girls, Rachel and Anna have grown so much. And of course it was good to visit with Lisa under better circumstances. The last time we saw her was the day after my parents were interred. So this was much better. They have a great little house, (two story, not so little really), with woods and trees all around. Very nice.
While we were there we went to Berlin, where Runaway Bride was filmed, then to Assateague Island to see the ocean and the wild horse population maintained there by the State of Maryland. Finally, we visited the boardwalk at Ocean City. Very picturesque view of the Atlantic, the shops feature a lot of eateries and tatoo parlors. We also were able to sample "thrashers" on the boardwalk, a must do when visiting the east coast.
