Instead of the large family gatherings that usually characterize Thanksgiving meals, we were constrained by circumstances, (mostly my job), to go small this year. Fortunately for us Laurie and Stephanie were also up in the air as to what their plans were so they came to have the holiday with us.
Another brillant idea this time was to have La Madelines prepare much of the meal so there wouldn't be as much cooking for just 4 people.
I was dubious at first but it was delicious, as good as any home cooked thanksgiving dinner I've ever had.
It was a great day and a really nice visit.
